Reconds take a splash at St.
Josrph's gala

Top swimmers ar St. Joseph's college are poised to give a good account of themseleves at the inter-school swimming chanpionship , Division one , scheduled this month.
In-form senior swimmers rewrote eight records at the school's swimming gala at Victoria Park Swimming Pool.
"Their brilliant performance has indicated that they are ready for the showdown with their counterparts from Diocesan Boy's School and La Salle College," PE teacher Wu Wan-kwok said.
Rivalry in the Grade A events saw two swimmers emerge as individul champion. Sixth-former and Hong Kong representative Fong Lik-sun set three records.
Lik-sun was unpposed in the backstroke events, taking the 50 and 100 metres (open) in respective record times of 29.82 seconds and 1 minute 2.94 seconds.
The powerful swimmer won the 200-metre individual medley (open) in another record time of 2 min 13.12 sec and the individual championship.
Co-champion Tsui Lap-yan of Secondary 4B not only broke two records but also guided his class to victory in the Grade A class champion. Lap-yan dominated the breastbroke events, taking the 100 and 200 metre (open) in respective record times of 1 min 8.46 sec and 2 min 34.72 sec. Third-for-mer Lo Kowk-hung also helped his class, Secondary 3A , win the Grade B class championship as he broke the 50 metre backstroke and freestyle and Grade B 26.23 sec respectively.
Third-former ALan Cheung set a new record in the Grade B 100 metre freestyle.
Junirs made an impression too as Lau Tsz-fung , John Wong and Edmund Chen sharedhonours for the Grade C individual championship.
